PUMAPATAK NANAMAN ANG ULAN - MIKU HATSUNE VERSION
An OPM (Original Philippine Music)
Composed by Danny Javier of Apo Hiking Society
Lyrics by Danny Javier, with editing by Orochi Herman
Popularized by Apo Hiking Society and Parokya Ni Edgar
Arranged by Jim Paredes (of APO Hiking Society) and Lorrie Illustre
Re-arranged for Vocaloid, MIDI standard and FL Studio sequencing by Orochi Herman
Translated to English by Orochi Herman
Sung by Miku Hatsune
Language: Tagalog (Filipino)
NOTE: You are watching the very first VOCALOID video and music I ever made, without prior knowledge of its inner workings during its time.
From what I heard about attempts to make Miku sing in English, there's one thing that is painfully evident.
Miku is designed to sing Japanese songs. She does a foreigner impression if you make her sing in English.
This means she doesn't sound natural if you make her sing in a language other than Japanese. Her voice samples
and accents are designed for Japanese pronunciation.
To say the least, getting Miku to say them was surprisingly easy. What strikes as odd though is that she sounds really different when she speaks it. Not very cutesy as in teenage-girl cutesy, but not oldie-like. It's as if a little girl is singing. *shrugs*
What took me time though is that the video desyncs when I'm converting it. Not to mention that power outages here because of Typhoon Frank didn't help either.
If you'll notice, the lyrics were modified, because, let's face it, drinking booze (beer) and finger-foods (pulutan) aren't really Miku's thing. (It's probably Haku's, but that's another story.) Plus I updated the song about the latest fad. We certainly don't read old comics here anymore.
This is my very first work regarding Miku, so she may sound a bit odd in places. I may update the video if things really hit the fan, or when I figure things out more.
If you're interested in the work files that I used, giving the song the Japanese language treatment or for other inquiries, please PM me. I'll be more than happy to share the source files that I used.
Artwork used in the video was done by eko. It's the only one that fits the song.
UPDATE: Want the MP3 or want to find out how this was done? Head over to http://boards.rotbrc.com/miku/res/1371.html for links, and discussion of the song.

Tagalog Lyrics
==============================
Pumapatak na naman ang ulan sa bubong ng bahay,
Di maiwasang gumawa ng di inaasahang bagay,
kanta ng kanta ng himig magdamagan
May kapausan at di maiwasan
Mabuti pa kayang matulog ka na lang
At baka sumakit lalamunan
Ang araw ko'y nabubusisi
Ako ang nasisisi
Bakit ba sila ganyan,
Sarap man lang

English Lyrics
=================================
I hear the raindrops falling down on the roof of my house now
I do things that I don't think of, it must've been from the cold somehow
I sing and I sing many songs all through the night
My voice getting hoarse, there is no helping it
better settle down, you better get some sleep
Or the throat will be hurting so deep
My life is always such a hassle
I always get all the blame
Why are they always like that
My own voice always falls to deaf ears
I can't sing out there, and nobody listens to me!
I just ran out of tokens, so I sing it a-capella
I try it out even if I'm exhausted
Those who live life lazy
Aren't going to get
relief in their lives
Radio, TV, cellphone and the internet
The leisures I have, so little and few
And if I got someone to call up
That is gonna debit from my 25 bucks of e-load
Aha...
Stomp your feet to the beat of the debuting brand new tunes
But the beats are all you got, you don't even know all of the tones!
When the raindrops have stopped, well what are you gonna do
Don't even think and don't you change anything too
better settle down, you better get some sleep
Yes, better get some cozy sleep
I hear the raindrops falling down again...
